CAR HIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
DRIVER'S LICENCE
The hirer and/or authorized driver must have held a full and valid driving license for a minimum of 2 years up to and including the time of hire. The licence must bear no current endorsements during the last two years. A driving licence from the country of residence or an International Driver's Permit is generally acceptable, provided it meets the above terms.
DRIVER
The hirer and/or authorised driver must be over 23 years of age and under 70 years of age. The hirer and/or authorised driver must also be in possession of a proper document of identification other than a valid driver's licence.
INSURANCE
A compulsory daily insurance charge is payable by the hirer. All our vehicles are insured but in all cases, the hirer is responsible for repairs arising from damage caused by carelessness.
CAR HIRE AGREEMENTSelf drive cars are hired subject to the company's standard form of agreement not withstanding the above conditions. The company however reserves the right to deny a hirer at anytime without assigning any reason.
SECURITY
The vehicles MUST be locked when unattended. The vehicle must not be parked in a public area for long periods. The hirer is responsible for the security of the vehicle.

THEFT PROTECTION INSURANCE
The Hirer's liability for theft of the vehicle is automatically covered subject to the terms and conditions of the car hire contract.
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER
The Hirer's liability for damage to the vehicle is automatically covered subject to the terms and conditions of the car hire contract. Damage to tyres, windscreen and underneath the vehicle is not covered.
EXCESS LIABILITY WAIVER
Excess waiver is available for certain vehicles. This insurance cover protects the hirer/driver from having to pay any excess fees brought about by damage and /or loss to the vehicle.
CHAUFFEUR SERVICES
Chauffeur services will be charged at US$25 per day inclusive of meals within Kenya and USD 35.00 per day outside Kenya.
CROSS BORDER RENTAL
Cars can only be taken into Tanzania & Uganda. This is upon request and must be mentioned when making the hire reservation. There will be an additional charge of USD 150.00, to cost for PTA (COMESA) cover for Third Party. Plus Extra Collision Damage insurance (CDI) for the particular number of days the vehicle is in the foreign country of USD 25.00 per day. Rates are exclusive of Local Tax (V.A.T.)
TERMS OF PAYMENT
A deposit of 15% can be made by (TT) Telegraphic Transfer direct to our accounts or charge cards i.e.Visa and Mastercard at a bank surcharge of 5%. The balance is payable while picking up the car.
A Deposit of Ksh 100,000 will be required in cash or by charge cards i.e.Visa and Mastercard for car hire and a deposit of Ksh.150,000 for those who prefer vehicles with roof tent &camping equipments This amount is refundable upon completion of the car hire. All government taxes will be applied in all payments of the said services.
